A huge crowd turned up at Muhanga regional stadium on Thursday as the week-long Muhanga Miracle Gospel crusade kicked off.
People from all walks of life gave their lives to Jesus Christ during the first day of the crusade, which has attracted over sixty churches from across the country, as well as popular gospel artistes, like Théogène Uwiringiyimana aka Bose Babirebe, Lillian Kabaganza and Mugabo, among others. The event was organized by Pastor Isaie Uwihirwe Baho of Agape Evangelical Pentecostal Church in Kabuga, together with Evangelist Jennifer Wilde.
According to Uwihirwe, the coordinator of the crusade, the event is meant to spread the word of God and to call on the sinners to come back to Jesus.
"Lord sent us here to tell people that Jesus is the savior so that sinners can give their lives to Jesus Christ. All we need are those people who haven’t yet received the salvation to use this opportunity.”
The crusade will also feature other gospel stars, like Rose Muhando from Tanzania and Kelly from US, among others.
Jennifer Wilde, the founder of Wilde4Jesus Ministries, said that their objective is to help Rwandans and the world to know that Jesus needs them.
Wilde4Jesus Ministries is a U.S. based charitable organization whose aim is to bring love, peace, and salvation of Jesus Christ to millions of people in Africa and India.
"We have prayed for Rwanda for so long, we are excited to be here in Muhanga. There’s going to be deliverance, salvation and every single person will go back home touched,” she added.
Jennifer is a former Hollywood celebrity and model, who decided to dedicate her life to Jesus Christ. She is currently serving in India.
