Three years ago, Miss St Patrick pageant was the biggest thing on the school’s entertainment calendar. And the event was characterised by beauty and glamour. But around 2012, the glamorous event went into oblivion.
However, the beauty pageant is now back and preparations are in high gear for the event to be held on July 31, at St Patrick School in Kicukiro.
Speaking to The New Times, Mahal N. Gerlzy, one of the organisers said the event is focusing on beauty, brain and culture.
The beauty pageant will feature performances from several artistes, including Ciney, Auddy Kelly, Gaby Mutare, Viatora and Amber, among others; standup comedian Arthur will also be present.
The beauty pageant will also be graced by several beauty queens, such as Miss Rwanda 2015, Miss CBE 2015, Miss INES 2015, Miss Heritage Rwanda 2015 and Miss Mount Kenya.
It is the second time that the school will be crowning its beauty queen.
