Are you a fresh graduate? Borrow a leaf from others

When I was growing up, I couldn’t wait for the day when I would finish school. I longed for a time when I would make my own money and spend it the way I wanted. A beautiful house, big car, good meals and travelling would be my main focus. I would compensate for all the ‘suffering’ I had endured for close to 20 years.

That time indeed came and I graduated with a good degree. However, I soon realized that my childhood dream was far from being real so I was forced to wake up and come back to earth. The jobs were not coming as fast as I wanted despite my desperate search for them. I could not afford transport or lunch, let alone my big dreams – vehicle or house.

My experience is not unique to me only but rather most of the graduates. In our main story this week, we dig deep into the dilemma of a fresh university graduate and offer tips on how to go about it.
