RE: "Police direct driving schools to limit student numbers” (The New Times, July 17).

This is true; driving schools should focus on quality other than simply issuing so many permits and then deal with many accidents in damage control.

I am humbly asking Rwanda National Police: what about those drivers who get involved in accidents causing death of innocent passengers due to reckless driving, driving while on phone or under the influence of alcohol?

Why don’t you withdraw their permits?

This would instill discipline and reduce traffic accidents.
