Editor,

How is it possible to recover students’ education loans while REB does not know where their debtors are? It is well known that many graduates are still unemployed so far. Therefore, you cannot pay without means.

I think the better way of solving the problem is to seek for other funds in order to support new university students instead of relying on the recovered SFAR loans. The urgent issue is to permit new university students to get scholarships through BRD (Rwanda Development Bank).

We are complaining that the quality of education is lower in our universities but we forget that the root cause is lack of infrastructure and other resources required to support our education system.
