I like the fact that both local and foreign investors will enjoy same incentives on priority sectors, affordable housing is key.
Please always encourage foreign investors to partner with local citizens (Revenue share matrix) instead of foreign investors buying off small businesses, land or business innovations from the locals. This way we will be able to achieve sustainable and inclusive development. Access to finance is still a problem in Africa where the interest rate is around 19.75 per cent on loans and in America, Europe and Asia the interest rate is below 5 per cent on average, this makes it hard for local investors to compete globally.

Rwanda has gone extra miles in creating a favourable investment environment. These new incentives are the icing– what a great bonus to investors. Doing it our away with blanket incentives reduces the abuse temptations. Keep up the good RDB Team.
