Rwanda has been placed in Group B at the upcoming CECAFA U15 Cup which is due at FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru from November 4-18.
The draw, held in Kampala, Uganda, on Wednesday, left the Junior wasps pooled in the saw group as Tanzania, Zanzibar and Somalia while host nation Uganda has been pitted in Group A alongside Ethiopia, Djibouti and South Sudan.
Currently coached by Musanze gaffer Sosthène Habimana, the team has since October 23 been in a residential camp in at La Palisse Hotel and has been holding daily training sessions at Bugesera Stadium.
They leave depart Kigali International Airport for Njeru on Thursday, November 2, two days before the tournament kicks off.

This highly-anticipated CECAFA U15 competition is expected to showcase the talents of young footballers from across the region and Rwanda is looking to use the platform to introduce the best of the country’s talents to potential scouting agencies in the region.
The CECAFA U15 edition was last held in 2019 in Asmara, Eritrea. Uganda won the tournament after beating Kenya in the final. The latter will be a notable absentee in the 2023 edition after the pulled out of the competition over unconfirmed reasons.
