In a bid to boost their hopes of challenging for the national football league title next season, Police FC have strengthened their squad with five new signings, including midfielder Robert Ndatimana from Rayon Sports.
According to the club spokesperson, Jean Dieu Mayira, the Rwanda U-23 international, Ndatimana, 20, put pen to paper on a two-year contract. He joined Rayon Sports in 2013 from Isonga FC.
"We have signed him along with two other three players because they fit very well into our structure and future plans. They are all still at a relatively young age and we hope they can add more strength to the squad as we chase for trophies next season,” Mayira told Times Sport on Thursday.
Other players signed by Andre Cassa Mbungo’s team include; Isonga pair of striker Danny Usengimana and central defender Hakim Tuyisenge for two years.
Police FC, which finished on third position in the league, have also signed former Isonga captain Anderson Neza on a free transfer and former Sec academy midfielder Muhammad Mushimiyimana.
Mayira also revealed that they are still very active in the transfer market as they seek to reinforce the attacking options.
