Rwanda volleyball team skipper Laurence Yakan Guma will be out of action for at least two weeks following an injury to his right knee injury sustained during the just-concluded Genocide Memorial Tournament.

Yakan played in the group stage matches and quarterfinals before he got injured in the semi-final against Nemostars, the match APR won 3-2. He did not play in the final which his side lost 3-2 to Rayon Sports.

"I am not sure how many days I will be out but I hope it will not be long. It was because of a bad surface but I will go for diagnosis on Tuesday and see what the real problem is,” said Yakan.
