Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) Chief of Defence Staff Lieutenant General Mubarakh Muganga is on a visit in China where he is holding discussions with his counterpart General Liu Zhenli, the Chief of Joint Staff Department of the Central Military Commission (CMC) of the Communist Party of China.

A statement shared by the Ministry of Defence via Twitter on Sunday, October 29, noted that the discussions focused on "ways of strengthening existing cooperation.”

Defence and peacekeeping activities are some of the areas in which Rwanda and China hope to increase partnership, in addition to the usual ones like education, trade and investment.
