Editor,

I was delighted to read your article, "RwandAir gets global air transport membership”, in The New Times of May 27.

This endorses the fact that "Africa’s youngest and fastest growing airline” offers quality service and maintains high standards, as required by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

There are several benefits, as spelt out in the article, of becoming an IATA member.

Having flown myself several times on RwandAir, I would definitely endorse the fact that the national carrier of this great nation offers its customers a level of service which is second to none.

While I wish RwandAir team every success with this elite membership, I can’t help but wonder how great it would be to welcome RwandAir to Mumbai.
