His military skills were used first by Congo Brazzaville’s rebel and then president Dennis Sasou Nguesso, who employed him as a bodyguard and then later by Laurent Desire Kabila. Later his skills were then employed by the FDLR, a genocidal armed group that is accused of horrendous human rights abuses.

Today he is back in Rwanda, living a life that was, for him, barely imaginable.

In this Episode of the Survivor Series, he reveals all about his experience in exile and lifts the lid on the ideology that the FDLR employs up to date.
