National Football League side SC Kiyovu have sacked head coach Ali Bizimungu after poor 2014/2015 season, the club spokesperson, Muddy Byumvuhore has confirmed to Saturday Sport.

Bizimungu was sacked on Thursday evening after the club management accused him of going on local radios to talk about internal affairs of the club.

The Mumena-based club finished in ninth position with 32 points, the first time ever that the club has finished on that position in its 51 year history.

”I can confirm that Bizimungu is no longer working with us. He is not with us anymore. We have asked him to step down after we realized he was not committed to his job. The club will look for another coach in the coming days,” Mbyumvuhore confirmed on Friday.

When contacted, Bizimungu said that they sacked him because he had told them the truth.

The former Mukura, Rayon Sports coach said, "I am not with them anymore, they have sacked me because I said that they did not fulfill their commitment to help the club to compete at the highest level, that is what I have been accused of.”

According to reliable sources, former Kiyovu midfielder, Hubert ‘Bebe’ Nshizirungu could replace Bizimungu as head coach. Bizimungi becomes the first coach to lose his job at close of season.
