As the Rwanda business environment keeps on blossoming, with a number of informal entities that metamorphosing into SMEs or formal professionally managed corporations and multi-national bodies, the need for business management services has also kept on growing. This has called for the entry of new financial players in supporting entrepreneurs and the corporate world.
BDO East Africa Rwanda, a member of BDO International Ltd, a UK company limited by guarantee, has joined the financial and business support services industry to provide a variety of services to the business community at different levels.
The BDO East Africa Rwanda Managing Partner, Emmanuel Habineza, says the company comes with a wealth of expertise in audit and assurance, tax, business financial advisory, fund raising and IT consulting services to help organisations meet their statutory requirements, mitigate risks and perform better in the dynamic and challenging environments.
"BDO is the fifth largest Audit and Tax Advisory network in the world. The regional group has so far opened offices in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia and now Rwanda, targeting Burundi in the not so distant future.
BDO East Africa operates under regional group including Indian Ocean territories under BDO Mauritius supervision. But on the whole, BDO operates with 59,000 professionals working in over 1,300 offices in 152 countries and territories,” explains Habineza.
He says the Rwanda office is opening with a team of assorted professionals backed by other professionals from the regional group.
