National volleyball league table leaders, Rayon Sports have maintained top spot after edging Kirehe 3-0 over the weekend and take their points tally to 23 points, level with second-placed INATEK.

However, Fidele Nyiriamana’s Rayon Sports have one game in hand against Lycee de Nyanza, which will be played on Wednesday at Amahoro indoor stadium.

If Rayon Sports win, they will go three points clear of INATEK while APR are on third position with 21 points. On Sunday, APR beat Rusumo High School 3-1; INATEK won 3-1 over Rusumo High School.

In other matches, INATEK got free points against Kirehe 3-0 after the latter did not show up on field, Lycee de Nyanza thrashed KVC 3-0 while Umubano Blue Tigers continue their poor run, losing to APR 3-0 on Saturday and Kigali Volleyball 3-2 on Sunday. Umubano Blue Tigers is on bottom with one point.

In the women category, defending champions, Rwanda Revenue Authority beat IPRC-Kigali 3-0 while APR beat Lycee de Nyanza 3-0, Inyemeramihigo lost to Ruhango 3-0 and St Alloys beat St Joseph 3-0.

RRA lead the table with 33 points, four points ahead of APR while Imyemeramihigo is at the bottom with one point.
