Creating practical and sustainable initiatives in addressing challenges that affect communities and contribute to national development occupies a high table position on the working agenda of the Government of Rwanda.
This explains the establishment of Tumba College of Technology (TCT), which continues to come up with new initiatives that have propelled the college into excellence.
TCT is located in Rulindo district, Northern Province. It is one of the five Integrated Polytechnic Regional Centers (IPRCs) created by the government to boost the promotion of Technical Vocation Education Training (TVET).
The government believes this type of education system will create more job creators than seekers; thereby fighting unemployment especially among the youth and effectively contributing towards national development.
In addition to producing professional skills in various TVET programmes, TCT has demonstrated efficiency, competence and innovation by coming up with new initiatives that have contributed to the government development agenda.
