Dear editor,
The path that Rwanda is taking of making partnerships with other countries is one that will lead to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s).

One such venture is the new partnership with the German investors, who are to help with the development of renewable energy projects.

Renewable energy is very applicable and realistic in Rwanda. This renewable energy can easily be generated from solid waste within our environs.

Many tactics can be deployed to further the development of renewable energy. One way is through aforestation that is essential in combating environmental degradation, which has hit the whole globe.

If the government continues to support many more ventures like these, it will not be long before poverty and all related difficulties, are eliminated from Rwanda.

Many Rwandans are expected to benefit from the new developments.

More contracts and partnerships should be made with other developed countries, so that investments in this sector are boosted in the country.
