Bugesera are now four points clear at the top of Pool B after a 2-0 win over Intare in the second division league yesterday.

Djihad Rucogoza and Hussein Gasongo scored Bugesera’s goals in a tie that they dominated from the first minute until the last.

Elsewhere in pool B, Sorwathe were held to a 2-2 draw by Unity FC, third-placed Rwamagana beat Golden Generation 1-0, Muhanga played out a 1-1 draw with Miroplast, while former topflight league side Esperance defeated Interforce 1-0.

In pool A, table leaders La Jeunesse got a narrow 1-0 over Etoile d l’Est, Gasabo defeated SEC Academy 2-0, Heroes FC lost 2-0 to Vision FC, while Hope held Vision Jeunesse to a 1-1 draw.

With 44 points, Bugesera lead pool B table with four points ahead of Rulindo-based Sorwathe while Rwamagana are third with 34 points respectively.
