AMS Clothing is the official apparel supplier of the Rwanda Football Federation (Ferwafa) following a new partnership that will see the national football team benefit from the six months deal till the end of the year.

The Australian firm which launched in January 2014 is the official supplier for Sierra Leone and South Sudan national football teams. AMS Clothing will be supplying attire from June 2015 until the end of 2015, with an option to continue the partnership if all parties are satisfied with the arrangement.

"We have been patiently waiting for the right opportunity to come along to supply another national team, and supplying the Amavubi is a huge honour. We will do our best to ensure that the players are given quality apparel, and fans are provided with striking, attractive designs,” said Luke Westcott, the AMS Clothing founder.

FERWAFA president Vincent Nzamwita expressed his confidence in the kit brand and said, "This agreement is the beginning of good and great things to happen to Rwandan football with regards to sponsorship deals.

Ferwafa is happy to come into partnership with a global brand like AMS Clothing.

He further added that, "Rwanda football has excellent potential all around and a global brand like AMS Clothing will help to spur the processes that the present Ferwafa administration has put in place to drive our game to the next level.”

The official designs will be released in early June, with the Amavubi facing a hectic schedule over the coming months including the African Cup of Nations qualifiers that commence in June, the Fifa World Cup qualifiers that will start in October and the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup set for November and numerous friendly matches that will be played during this period including the July 25 match against South Africa in Johannesburg.
