Patriots Basketball Club will be keen to bounce back from last Sunday’s 65-64 defeat to Espoir when they face IPRC-South this afternoon and CSK on Sunday.

According to Patriots coach Cyrille Kalima, victories over IPRC-South and CSK would put his side in a good position to keep pressure on title rivals Espoir and APR.

"We need victories over IPRC-South and CSK this weekend, results from those two big games will give direction to how our league campaign will pan out,” Kalima said adding that his team cannot afford two defeats in a week.

Elsewhere, reigning champions Espoir BBC seem to have an easy weekend as they play struggling 30-Plus this morning before entertaining UR-College of Arts and Social Sciences (UR- CASS) on Sunday in Huye district.

2010 champions APR plays Rusizi basketball club on Sunday afternoon.

Espoir top the league table with 23 points, one point ahead of Cliff Owuor’s APR and two ahead of third-placed Patriots BBC respectively.
