Inyemera FC hope to use home advantage to halt Kamonyi’s winning run in the national women football league this afternoon.

A win for Inyemera will see the Gicumbi-based side go two points clear of Kamonyi while a victory for the latter will have Huye-based Les Lionnes lose second place they have been holding since early March.

Elsewhere, AS Kigali host Gakenke-based Freedom FC at Mumena stadium, Atletico play Nyagatare at Rwambariro grounds while Golden Generation travel to Rambura FC rallying for a third league win of the season.

On Sunday, giants Les Lionnes will be up against struggling Youvia at Mutunda playgrounds.

Kamonyi, with 29 points are third on the league log, one point ahead of Inyemera. The latter have played one game less.

Reigning champions AS Kigali top the table with 40 points, 8 ahead of second-placed Les Lionnes.
