Women beach volleyball duo of Charlotte Nzayisenga and Denyse Mutatsimpundu will take part in the Zone five Beach Volleyball tournament slated for May 7- 11 in Nairobi-Kenya.

Seven countries will take part in the 4 day event which is a qualifier for the 11th edition of the All Africa games slated for Congo Brazzaville. The 7 teams will come from Uganda, Rwanda, Sudan, Egypt, Ethiopia, Burundi and hosts Kenya.

Nzayisenga and Mutatsimpundu won the 2012 Africa gold Medal in the Confederations of African Volleyball junior Beach Cup in Togo and Mutatsimpundu thinks they can replicate such a performance.

"We have been training well for the last few weeks and we will do all we can to win the tournament and qualify for the All Africa Games,” 23 year-old Mutatsimpundu said.
