This is with reference to the article, "TNT sweeps media awards” (The New Times, May 4).Kudos to The New Times journalists for their outstanding performance in winning more than one third of all the awards!

Please allow me to share with your esteemed readers that it is only through the easy to read e-edition of The New Times that Rwandans and friends of Rwanda, from all parts of the globe, are able to stay in touch with what is happening in this beautiful country, nestled in the heart of the African continent.

The stories are not only informative, but also highlight burning issues. At the same time, they share true stories of fortitude and courage displayed by many survivors of the Genocide against the Tutsi, particularly during the 100 days of commemoration.

Responsible media reporting is the hallmark of any good journalist and The New Times team has displayed their skill and competence and is deservedly winning awards.
