Refer to the article, "Star of the Week: REB finally launches revamped curriculum” (The New Times, April 29).
That’s the way to go; I concur. And I am willing and ready to somehow contribute in the domain of my expertise.
On training in entrepreneurship, let's start phasing out the rampant improvisation in everything.
No magic, things (any artifact) don't happen to be around out of the blue! Someone somewhere has reflected upon, has made them, and has introduced them into our living environment.
Instead of always relying on other people from elsewhere to perform for us successive tasks throughout artifacts' lifecycle, right from the kindergarten up to higher learning institutions, let us instill into our kids' minds, heads, and muscles the confidence and capacity to do things by themselves.
Let us teach them how to be innovative in everything, and not always waiting for someone else to do the job.
But now that a new, more suitable curriculum has been unveiled, and is ready for implementation, there is a bigger challenge ahead: to appropriately train the trainers in such a short span of time.
