The tournament attracted golfers from various backgrounds and nationalities. This leg of the tour has been ongoing for the past eight months, covering 18 amateur series events across six East African countries namely Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, DR Congo, Rwanda, and Burundi.
According to BPR Bank Rwanda Managing Director Patience Mutesi, the Rwandan leg of the tour was particularly a ‘thrilling one’ due to a big number of golfers and diverse nationalities participating.
"Golf, akin to banking, is a game founded on precision, strategy, and unwavering effort. As our governor and numerous others in the banking world would concur, the journey to success in finance mirrors the traits demanded in golf – it requires unwavering determination, patience, and an unrelenting pursuit of excellence. It&039;s no wonder that these two realms often intersect," Mutesi said.
