Simba SC head coach Roberto Oliveira ‘Robertinho’ is hoping for a good result against Al Ahly when the pair locks horns in the second leg of the African Football League quarter finals in Cairo, Egypt.
The Lions were held by Al Ahly to a 2-2 draw in the first leg in Dar es Salaam on Friday, October 20, and they are aiming to upset the Reds in the return leg slated for October 24 at June 30 Stadium.
"It's an important match for us, we must be well-prepared for it and showcase our abilities and potentials. We'll give all players an opportunity to participate," Robertinho said before the encounter.
"We have a lot of respect for Ahly, and we're sure that they will reciprocate the same respect, especially since we displayed an excellent performance in the first match on our home ground."
The Brazilian tactician who coached Rayon Sports in the 2018/2019 season also firmly pointed out that his team (Simba) is among the best on the continent and they are undeterred in facing any opponent.
