That exchange of traditional to hybrid varieties should be critically looked over. In fact, once you introduce some hybrids in your farm, they completely change the soil nutrients, therefore traditional variety can never grow anymore.

We should also remember that those hybrids are susceptible to some agricultural threats  and they can develop resistance to treatments. Therefore, we will completely lose the traditional variety and the hybrid. Not even mentioning agro-ecological change.
