Nyarutarama-based MTN Centre is best remembered for being the home to entertainment in Kigali but over the last two years, hangouts in the mall closed their doors, including the most prominent-Virunga, which brought together Kigali’s party animals.
However, MTN Centre is now set to shed off its ‘boring tag’ with a new up market lounge set to open its doors to the public today, adding to an already growing number of impressive hangouts spicing up Kigali’s night life.
Masters Lounge and Restaurant, located at the top floor of MTN Centre is a classy, posh lounge which will provide an alternative to people who are tired of crowded and noisy places, at least according to the operations manager, Henry Mumo.
"It is an exclusive lounge, which is different from most places. It is cozy and we do not expect a huge crowd. It is a place you will come to after work to wind down or watch a football game,” says Mumo.
According to the brains behind the lounge, which is a sister place to K Club, it will be exclusive in terms of prices and services, providing an alternative to other mushrooming hangouts.
