Investing the Agaciro development fund money is a very good move, but I think it will be even more interesting if Business Development Fund (BDF) can get funds from Agaciro Development Fund, Rwanda Social Security Board, as well as individual and institutional local and foreign investors in order to directly operate as a venture capital/private equity fund manager and avoid going through banks.

This will solve big issues generated by the two main constraints of getting funds from traditional banks (collateral and high interest rates). It will also boost the economy through the promotion and financing of high potential Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
