Reference is made to Ange Kagame’s article, "Women’s rights: We’re not there yet” (The New Times, April 1).

We need more of such commentary pieces. Looking at the younger generation that is more exposed and educated, I am confident we will get there. I wish to thank Ange for sharing her thoughts. I hope other women share their thoughts and experiences as well. This is their battle too. We should not leave it for the leaders. When resources are pooled, people achieve their aspirations faster and celebrations merrier. Thanks once again.
