It is quite a big shame that this sickening behaviour is not yet a crime for which people should be locked up until Rwanda achieves its Vision 2020 targets. For there is no way we shall achieve our development goals with such jokers still on our streets.

The jokers will suddenly break into a loud scream on the street for the simple reason that they have seen an old friend approaching. Does the shouting compensate for all the years you missed talking to this old friend or is it just a signal to the rest of the world that a mad person is in their midst?

I totally do not understand this behaviour and I am sure even animals don’t randomly scream when they meet after a while so we cannot even call you an animal for doing this. City noise pollution laws need to help us with these jokers.

…treat customers differently because of their skin colour. There is nothing so new about this. We always hear of restaurants or bars where the waiters and waitresses treat customers differently with quick nice service for the whites and while the blacks get a reluctant annoying response all the time.

Such stupid behaviour is often based on the assumption that whites have money to tip the waiters while the blacks will just eat and leave. Well I am black and I often carry money just enough for my meal or drink. It is not my fault that your boss pays you very little money and you expect me to top up for you. If you treat me badly I will not come back or even stay. And what I was finally ready to try out that stunt I see white people doing in movies of saying ‘keep the change.’ Do you think I will do it if you treat me like a trash?

…drive carelessly when it has rained and pedestrians are close by. Sometimes we wrongly assume that everyone who passed a driving licence exam also has some sense in his/her head.

However it can be quite sickening when someone thinks that because they have a car it is ok to just drive and splash rain water on those unfortunate enough to be in the presence of fool behind the steering wheel of a car.

Do these brainless fellows think their cars will age faster if they just slow down a little and drive sensibly? Would they be happy if they learnt that what they just did has also been done to their mother or father by another driver? I wish such people could be arrested and placed under their cars for a week as the car is driven on wet muddy roads.

…visit and dictate what you should watch on TV. There are some very annoying visitors who should only be welcomed by doctors at mental hospitals or prison guards. I am talking about those uncultured visitors who think it is ok to take over the remote and dictate what channels would be watched during their stay.

These jokers will hold on to the remote as they convince you that what they were watching at their homes is something you too should watch. Many times you just let them be as a good host but the truth is deep down you feel like hitting them on the head with any piece of furniture that you can get your hands on.

These people should simply be told that good manners include respecting your host and not touching the remote.
