Trace, a global music powerhouse and Afro-music tastemaker, marked its 20th anniversary in style on October 20, spicing up Trace Festival at the Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village (KCEV).

The spectacular event, which was by invitation only, took place in a vibrant yet formal setting. The show began shortly after 8 p.m. and ended just after 11 p.m.

The night was hosted by the enthusiastic Zuba Mutesi, and it was dominated by many performances, mostly by local artistes such as Ish Kevin and Kenny K Shot, among others. Other foreign musicians nominated in various categories were also given a platform.
