Consider health concerns when harvesting rain water

Editor,

Harvesting rain water is good but it should not be from painted or rusting corrugated iron sheet.

And not storing such loaded waters in those tanks made of synthetic chemicals and heavy metals, of which no one knows what short and long term health problems they may cause when ingested.

Perhaps not ‘water tanks in every household’. Instead, a water well and a pump for every household or a group of households, on a virgin, grass covered land plot protected against any eventual sewage leaks.
