Rayon Sports vs Gicumbi

Table leaders APR take on Espoir this afternoon in the National Football League as the army side seeks to maintain a five-point lead on the league standings.

The army side will be without centre back Emery Bayisenge who has been rested for today’s clash and will be replaced by the energetic and physical Herve Rugwiro.

APR interim coach Vincent Mashami said, "Herve Rugwiro is very energetic and is very good in matches like this and we also have to give an opportunity to other players as well.”

Mashami was quick to note that the title chase is still on despite his side’s five-point advantage with a game in hand.

In the other games of the day, Isonga host second-placed AS Kigali at the Kicukiro stadium while Sunrise FC will travel to Musanze.

Fourth-placed SC Kiyovu travel to Rubavu to take on the relegation-threatened Etincelles that sits in 12th position, one point above the relegation zone while Amagaju will host Marines in Nyamagabe.
