Rwamagana FC are keen to dethrone archrivals Sorwathe from the helm of Pool B in the second division league, should the latter drop points with the former grabbing a win over Miroplast this afternoon.
Pool B table leaders Sorwathe take on newcomers Golden generation FC at Rugende playgrounds while Rwamagana visit Miroplast at Mironko plastic industries, Gikondo. Sorwathe currently have 17 points, one ahead of Rwamagana.
Rwamagana FC technical director François Kalisa told Times Sport that his side can overcome Miroplast this afternoon and mentioned that all the players are fit and ready to deliver.
"I have no injury in the squad, we have prepared for this fixture (against Miroplast) well and I am confident we can bag an away positive result. Miroplast can upset us if we don’t focus, we will have to be vigilant,” Kalisa told this paper yesterday.
Elsewhere in Pool B, third-placed Bugesera play away to Unity FC while Akagera host former topflight league side Muhanga. Struggling Esperance will be up against Kirehe while Intare face-off with Interforce in Huye district.
In Pool A, table leaders La Jeunesse face Gasabo at the Ferwafa ground while second-placed Vision Jeunesse take on Ndera-based Heroes FC at Ndera playgrounds. Nyagatare host SEC Academy while ASPOR and Pepiniere will face off at Kicukiro stadium.
Former topflight side La Jeunesse has 18 points at the top of Pool A while Vision Jeunesse trails them by four points in the second position. New entrants Nyagatare are in third position with 12 points.
