Espoir FC on Wednesday, October 18, announced they have signed 18 new players as club bolsters squad before the new FERWAFA Second Division League season kicks off.
The Rusizi-based club was relegated from the topflight league last season and
the club management believes the new signings bring a wealth of talent and experience to the team ahead of the 2023/24 second league campaign.

Among the notable additions are former captain of Musanze FC Gad Niyonshuti, former Sunrise FC’s Djihad Rucogoza and Romani Frank as well as last season's second division joint top scorer Bertin Dusenge.
With the current squad at their disposal, Espoir FC is determined to make a straight comeback to the topflight division next season which promises to be a tough one with the likes of AS Muhanga, Rutsiro FC and Gicumbi FC also vying for a ticket back to the Primus National League.

Goalkeepers: Massudi Ntagungira and Christian Watanga Milemba
Defenders: Modeste Niyonshuti, Hadinani Nyange, Gad Niyonshuti and Djuma Mutuyimana
Midfielders: Djihad Rucogoza, Vincent Gasore, Eric Amani Mutangana, Emmanuel Byukusenge, Jonas Tuyishime and Eric Angwa Kanza.
Forwards: Jimmy Kibengo Mashingirwa, Gilbert Munyeshyaka, Frank Romani, Noel Mutumona Kisombe and Bertin Dusenge.
