Rayon Sports beat Umubano Blue Tigers 3-1 on Saturday before seeing off Rusumo High School 3-0 on Sunday to clinch six points. Ngoma-based INATEK beat Lycee de Nyanza 3-0 and a 3-1 win over Umubano Blue Tigers on Sunday ensured a perfect weekend.
In the other matches on Sunday, APR beat Lycee de Nyanza 3-1 having struggled to defeat Kirehe 3-2 a day earlier. Kigali Volleyball Club thrashed Kirehe 3-0 before fighting hard to beat Rusumo High School 3-2.
In the women’s category, league champions Rwanda Revenue Authority thrashed IPRC KGL 3-0 on Saturday before beating St Joseph 3-0 to maintain an unbeaten run in the league and on top of the table standings with 12 points.
APR overcame Inyemeramihigo 3-0 on Saturday before seeing off Lycee de Nyanza 3-1 on Sunday to remain unbeaten and tied in second position with St Aloys on nine points.
Ruhango defeated Inyemeramihigo 3-1 while St Aloys beat St Joseph 3-0. On Sunday, Ruhango beat IPRC 3-1 while St Aloys hit Lycee de Nyanza 3-1.
Rayon Sports and INATEK are leading with 11, KVC, APR follows with 8 while Kirehe has two points. RHS has one point while LDN and UBT have not secured a point.
In the women category Ruhango and RRA are leading with 12, followed by St Alloys and APR with nine points while St Joseph, IPRC KGL Inyemeramihigo and LDN have not won any game.
