Trust Law Chambers, a Kigali-based law firm, has appointed seasoned lawyer Richard Balenzi as partner. "Balenzi joined the law firm as an associate in 2008 and has rapidly risen through the ranks, thanks to his brilliance, diligence and commitment.

His appointment is consistent with our policy of growing and mentoring talent in the firm,” Richard Mugisha, the Trust Law Chambers managing partner, said in a statement.

"This is the first time that the law firm has had one of its own trainee lawyers rise through its ranks,” Mugisha added. Balenzi is an expert in business law, and has had vast experience in handling complex business transactions.
