Lions de Fer will be out to restore their injured pride when they take on league leaders Remera Buffaloes in the national rugby league this afternoon at Utexrwa ground.
Former champions, Lion de Fer, who are third in the league after five matches, will have their hands full against record eight-time league champions, Remera Buffaloes as they seek revenge of their first leg 18-0 loss in January.
Speaking to Saturday Sport yesterday, Lion de fer captain Olivier Nikwigize said, "The boys are ready for this game. Last time Buffaloes defeated us comfortably but I believe we have learnt from that experience and are now capable of beating them.”
Lion de fer will also be looking to bounce back from last weekend’s 54-15 defeat to Gatenga-based Thousand Hills.
In other games, bottom-placed Kigali Sharks will be searching for their first win of the season when they play second-placed Thousand Hills.
In the Southern Province, Kamonyi Pumas will be hoping to use home advantage against UR Grizzlies. Pumas lost their last match 16-10 to Muhanga.
