A combination of beauty and brains is key at every beauty pageant—and certainly it will be considered, when 22 finalists for the Mr and Miss Mount Kenya University take to the stage tomorrow evening for the varsity ’s coveted title. 

The event will be held at Gikondo Expo Grounds in Kicukiro. The pageant will be preceded by the university’s graduation ceremony at the same location.

The battle will see the most beautiful and brainy female and male students walk away with amazing prizes including tuition fees for two semesters, $1000 cash prize, an iPad and an air ticket courtesy of RwandAir, among other prizes.

The event will feature performances by homeboy Mani Martin and renowned Kenyan musician Jaguar.
