APR Interim coach Vincent Mashami has predicted a great career for 19-year-old Rayon Sports defensive midfielder Jihad Bizimana after his impressive show in APR’s 4-0 win against rivals Rayon Sports.

The 19-year-old midfielder who joined the ‘Blues’ from Etincelles two years ago is a nephew to Amavubi captain Haruna Niyonzima who plays for Tanzania giants Young Africans.

"He is a great prospect for both Rayon Sports and the national team. On Sunday he was outstanding and He is partly the reason why we didn’t play well in midfield on Sunday,” Mashami said.

Mashami, who also doubles as Amavubi Assistant Coach further praised Rayon Sports left back Emmanuel Imanishimwe for coping well in his first game against APR.

"It was his first game against APR and these games are never easy for young players. He did well but then lost concentration later in the game which played to our advantage,” Mashami said.

Imanishimwe was brought in to replace Abouba Sibomana who joined Kenyan side Gor Mahia.
