Many students do not know what they want to become in future, while those that have a clue cannot explain why they want to take that direction in particular.
Many students do not know what they want to become in future, while those that have a clue cannot explain why they want to take that direction in particular.
That is why Tigo and Imbuto Foundation recently organised a workshop in Kigali to enlighten 100 students from the Association of Students Survivors of the Genocide about different careers and employment opportunities.
The students, who interacted with a number of managers from Tigo and Imbuto Foundation executives, described the session as an "eye opener”.
Callixte Nsabimana, one of the students who was granted an internship programme at Tigo during the event, said the meeting was a great learning experience which he hoped to build on to become successful.
"The human resource managers educated us about our careers and helped me decide on what I should focus on. I hope to impress my bosses during internship so that they retain me,” Nsabimana said.
