The U-15 National Youth Football Championship will continue this Sunday with two games in the boys’ and girls’ categories at Kicukiro ground.

In boys’ category, Gatenga will be playing against Miroplastic while Masaka face Nyarugunga in the girls’ league.

The inaugural championship was in yesterday in Rubavu District where Jua Toto beat Nyakiriba 2-0 in the boys’ category with goals coming from Julien Kayitare and Enock Muhawenimana in the 8th and 21st minutes respectively. In girls’ category Nyakiriba drew 0-0 with White Stars.

The U-15 league, which kicked off last weekend in Gatsibo and Nyanza Districts, is aimed at developing young talents at grassroots level.
