United Generation Basketball (UGB) will be keen to derail a confident Patriots BBC when the two sides square-off this afternoon in the national league at UR-CST courts. UGB, who finished fourth last season, lost 52-58 to APR last Saturday but bounced back to beat 30-Plus 58-50 on Sunday, while newcomers, Patriots are in confident mood after stunning 7-time champions, APR last weekend in their first game of the season.
Speaking to Saturday Sport yesterday, UGB small forward, Brave Rutsindintwarane said the team is in good form ahead of Patriots’ clash.
"We are focusing on one game at a time; right now our most important fixture is Patriots.
They are a good team and surely confident after beating APR last weekend but we’re confident that we can pull off a win,” said the 19-year-old.
Cliff Owour’s APR will take on CSK on Sunday while reigning champions Espoir will be up against IPRC-Kigali at UR-CST courts.
