Gaga is set to perform in Uganda.

Local R&B gospel singer and pastor, Alfred Kwizera, will be in Uganda next week to perform at five different churches. The singer aka Gaga, will leave for Uganda today for the week-long trip.

Gaga was invited by Pastor Joseph Sserwadda of Victory Church in Ndeeba, Kampala. He is expected to perform at Victory Church, Miracle Centre Kansanga, and Redeemed Church, among others.

"The purpose of my trip to Uganda is to serve God through singing and preaching the Gospel,” said Gaga. "It is also a great opportunity for me to share with the Christians there what I have to offer. The invitation proved to me that they’re interested in what I do and I won’t disappoint,” said Gaga.

The 26-year-old started singing in 2004, but it was his 2011 album, Humura Nshuti that brought him fame. He has worked with both religious and secular artistes.

Gaga is currently working on a new album titled, Mana Nfasha, consisting of singles, such as, Umugisha, Word of God, I love you Jesus and Nawasa na Yesu, among others.
