Former top flight division sides La Jeunesse and Esperance FC registered away victories on matchday 2 in the second division league on Saturday.

Nyamirambo-based La Jeunesse defeated Nyagatare 3-1 in Pool A, while Kimisagara-based Esperance FC routed 3-0 Golden Generation in Pool B with goals from Phrodoire Muigiraneza, Shaban Mazimpaka and Dieudonne Mpaka.

Last weekend, La Jeunesse kicked off their campaign with a 2-1 win over Gitikinyoni Centre 2-1 whereas Esperance beat Unity FC 2-0.

Elsewhere in Pool A, Vision FC beat SEC Academy 2-0, Vision Jeunesse and Pepiniere played to a goalless draw, Hope FC held Gasabo 1-1 while Heroes FC and Etoile de l’Est drew 2-2.

In Pool B, AS Muhanga beat Bugesera 1-0, Rwamagana won 2-0 over Kirehe, Unity and Intare drew 0-0 while Sorwathe who beat Intare 2-0 on the opening weekend, claimed a 1-0 victory over Interforce.
