FINA Bank yesterday donated computers and money to Hope and Homes for Children (HHC), a registered charity working in 12 countries in Central and Eastern Europe and Africa.

The donation of five computers and Frw250.000 was given to the charity at its Rwanda Head offices in Remera.

The head of Consumer and Banking FINA Bank, Eugene Muligande, while handing over the donation, said that FINA Bank appreciates the work and the efforts that HHC puts into looking after vulnerable children in the country.

"The work you people are doing is great and we shall continue to assist wherever possible in providing help to these vulnerable children to see that they acquire basic needs in life and live a better life,” Muligande said.

The HHC Country Director, Vianney Rangira, thanked FINA Bank and said that the money will help in their education program from which many vulnerable children are benefiting.

"It’s with love and care that FINA Bank decided to look out and help these vulnerable children and us from Hope and Homes for Children shall always be grateful for their input,” Rangira told The New Times

HHC’s objective is to integrate children in families within the community and give hope to the poorest children in the world who are orphaned, abandoned or vulnerable by enabling them to grow within the love of family and security of a home.

In Rwanda, HHC caters for more than 200 families with vulnerable children in four major districts; Gasabo, Kicukiro, Nyamagabe and Bugesera.
