The England Football Association (FA) is scheduled to hold a one-week leadership programme for young leaders across the country focusing on football between February 14-20. This is the third time that the FA is conducting the programme known as Football Futures 'Changing Lives.'

Twenty nationals between 16-22 years that were selected in 2013 are the ones expected to continue benefitting from the programme.

Rwanda Football Federation technical director Lee Johnson said, "For us, it shows that we are developing partnerships that were formed in 2011. The FA team has expertise and experience that will help our coaches to enhance their football knowledge.”

Johnson who previously worked with the FA as well as coached the youth academies at Chelsea and Crystal Palace said, "It is great for my homeland to come in and help with developing football in Rwanda. I am looking forward to that.”

The 11-member contingent includes Steve Swallow (National Education Project Officer), Donna McIvor (National Football Development Manager – Education) and Rachel Pavlou, the National Football Development Manager in charge of women and girls. The FA representatives arrive on Saturday and will hold a special meeting with Ferwafa officials before heading to Nyanza for the launch of the U-15 youth leagues.
