Rayon Sports Captain Fuadi Ndayisenga will need to pass a late fitness test on Friday to play in the club’s Orange Caf confederations tie against Panthère du Nde of Cameroon on Saturday.

Rayon sports left for Cameroun yesterday without midfielders Sina Jerome and new signing Pierrot Kwizera who are not permitted to feature in the tournament because they joined the Nyanza side when they had already submitted the list of players to Caf.

Despite the duo’s absence, interim coach Sosthene Habimana told this paper yesterday that he will aim for a win.

"We are traveling for an away victory in Cameroun, I know some people are suggesting that we sit back and defend and then finish the job in Kigali in the return leg, but that is a dangerous and risky thing to do. I think we have a good squad to win away,” the youthful coach said.

The blues last played in this competition in 2011 and were eliminated in the first round.
