UPCOMINGGospel singer Gilbert Irakiza aka Roi G is set to shoot two videos for his new tracks, Birashoboka and Anyitayeho on Saturday.
The songs reflect real life situations and were produced by one of the country’s leading music producers, Bob Pro of Pro Records.
"My new songs talk about people who struggle in life trying to change things on their own and they forget to count on God. But all that is in vain. When you put your trust in God, everything is possible,” Irakiza told The New Times yesterday.
The singer started his music journey in 2009 as a choir member at Omega Church in Kigali.
Today, Irakoze is a choir worship leader at Christ Embassy Church in Kigali and is also pursuing a career in music as a solo Gospel artiste.
He has six songs to his name, including Never, Am more than a conqueror and Nyemerera among others.
Irakiza said that his mission is "to bring God’s message of hope, comfort and encouragement to Rwandans through praise and worship.”
